Dave's Biography

In July 2006, Dave with his wife Debbie have been appointed as missionaries to Latin America to reach youth, train leaders, plant youth ministries and touch hurting young people with the gospel.
Dave has been involved full time in youth and Christian Education ministries since 1978 when he graduated from Central Bible College in Springfield, Missouri where he received a B.A. in Bible and in1983 he received an A.A. in History at John Woods in Quincy, Illinois. He is an ordained minister with the Assemblies of God and a General Presbyter with the Guatemala Asamblea de Dios.
From November 1987 to May 2006 he served as the District Youth Director for the Kentucky District Council of the Assemblies of God. In that office he served on the national youth advisory board, the national youth alive advisory board and oversaw Camp Crestwood operations in Kentucky. As the District Youth Director, Dave coordinated ministries such as; Youth Leadership Summit, Speed the Light (a student missions project providing equipment to missionaries), Fall Fling (annual Youth Convention), Ambassadors in Mission (stateside and overseas student trips), Youth Alive (campus ministries), Teen Bible Quiz, Summer Camps (for young adults, teenagers and children), Fine Arts Festival and public speaking in churches, schools and youth groups. Dave has preached youth revivals and camps in Arizona, Kentucky, Florida, Indiana, Illinois, Mississippi, and Virginia.
Dave has raised well over $1,000,000 for missions and has been a featured mission's speaker across the U.S. From October 1987 to November 1989 Dave was the Minister of Youth at Good Shepherd Church in Owensboro, Kentucky. From May 1978 to October 1987 he was the Youth & Associate Pastor at Faith Assembly of God in Quincy, Illinois where he served with his father who was Pastor.
Dave has led and hosted many international ministries in Argentina, Belgium, France, Paraguay, Dominican Republic, Nicaragua, Guatemala, Honduras, Ecuador, El Salvador, Jamaica, Venezuela. He also hosted a major inner city event in Kentucky with Convoy of Hope.
Debbie, Dave's wife has been an active partner ministry. She is also ordained with the Assemblies of God.
