One Way
Guatemala
hosts evangelism teams in partnership with Ambassadors in  Mission (AIM) , Mobilization & Placement Service (MAPS)and other ministries to assist with their outreach events, especially during the Guatemalan school year which is from mid-January through the end of October.

Ambassadors in Mission (AIM) Student Teams
  • AIM is student outreach ministry of the Assemblies of God.
  • The Amsler’s One Way Guatemala (OWG) ministry is an outreach primarily to children in public venues; schools, churches, parks, markets, streets, etc with a combination of choreography, music, drama, interactive activities, clowns, puppets and a presentation of the gospel.
  • OWG has a small team of Guatemalan leaders who accompany visiting ministry teams to help with training, logistics and other ministry details.
  • For non-youth teams we partner with MAPS of the Assemblies of God World Missions.  See their web-site for more information and requirements.

REQUIREMENTS FOR AIM (student) TEAMS
There are guidelines for student missions teams to use the term "AIM” and in order to receive mission’s giving credit with the Assemblies of God.
  1. Request an invitation in writing from the Assemblies of God World Missions (AGWM) missionary you will work with.  The Amsler’s will provide this letter for their teams.
  2. Notify your District Youth Director (DYD) of your trip plans in writing.
  3. Complete the foreign AIM Outreach Form and forward to the national AIM office at least 60 days prior to your trip.
  4. Obtain short-term trip insurance through the Assemblies of God World Missions. Ask for "AIM Travel Insurance."
To receive further assistance, guidance, or suggestions on making your AIM trip a  success, e-mail the national AIM office (aim@ag.org) or call 417.862.2781, ext. 4039.
