How to pronounce "heroe"
“err doe way” with a soft “d” for doe
- "Statue" stands center stage when music begins. He moves to the music like a robot and then stops.
Main:
SOCCER PLAYERS
- Two or three characters dressed as soccer players enter the scene. They begin to play soccer around the statue. The statue remains still until one of the players “activates the statue” by placing a ball cap on his head.
- He then joins in a soccer star. As the music draws to a close, the statue returns to still form. The players kneel beside him say “Este es mi héroe”
DRUNKs
- Music changes and one or tw0 drunks enter the scene. Statue remains still until activated by the drunks when handed a drink. Statue losses his ball cap and joins the drunks in a "drunken party."
- When music closes, drunks knell and repeat, “Este es mi héroe”.
MUSICIANS
- When drunks leave, two or three musicians ("high energy rockers") enter the stage. After performing a "rock show" they remove the beer bottle and hand the statue a guitar. He is now a rock star who joins the performance.
- At the end the Rockers repeat, “Este es mi héroe”.
CRUCIFIXION
- Once the rockers have cleared the stage, the music turns dark and two roman soldiers enter the scene. They throw away the statues rock star persona and begin to beat him and nail him to the cross.
- Statue should be thrown on the ground and beaten. One roman solder will spear statue in the side when music indicates.
- Scene ends with a loud clap of thunder that sends the soldiers running in fear.
- Statue is hanging on the cross when two Christians enter. They are terrified and saddened.
- They begin to cry when they see Jesus' suffering. They kneel down and with hands uplifted say, “Jesus es mi héroe”.
